Memorial Service Held for Isipingo Accident Victims

A mass prayer and memorial service took place at King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi, Durban, yesterday, to honor the 11 victims of the recent Isipingo accident on the R102. The event drew numerous mourners, including family and community members, who came together to share their grief and pay tribute to those who lost their lives. Various speakers, including KwaZulu-Natal’s MEC for Transport, called for greater accountability regarding vehicle safety.

While the community united in remembrance, families opted for individual burials, ensuring each victim was honored in a personal way.
