Khayelitsha Police Ask for Assistance in Locating Missing Boy, Oyama Titshala

Authorities in Khayelitsha are urgently asking for the public’s help in locating Oyama Titshala, an eight-year-old boy who has been missing since December 14, 2025. Oyama was last seen leaving his home in Ceba Street, Makhaza. His mother only reported him missing on January 2, 2026, making the situation even more concerning.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg from the Khayelitsha Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences Unit made a public appeal, saying, “Khayelitsha Family Violence Child Protection Sexual Offences Unit seeks the assistance of the public to help find eight-year-old Oyama Titshala, who went missing on December 14, 2025, when he left his home in Ceba Street, Makhaza, and has not been seen since.”
At the time of his disappearance, Oyama was wearing green shorts, an orange jacket, and pink running shoes. These details are crucial for anyone who might have seen him or knows where he might be.
The police are asking anyone with information that could assist in the investigation or who may know the whereabouts of Oyama to come forward.
