Vosloorus Pupils Escape Unharmed as Scholar Transport Vehicle Catches Fire

This morning in Vosloorus, Gauteng, two school children, aged 10 and 6, and their driver escaped unharmed when their scholar transport vehicle caught fire. Everyone got out safely.
Firefighters arrived at 6 AM but found the vehicle already covered in flames. The fire likely started because of a problem in the engine. Although the children were shaken, they were not injured and received help from firefighters on the scene. Their parents were called right away.
The vehicle was badly damaged, and the police are now investigating what happened. This incident raises concerns about the safety of scholar transport, especially after a recent crash in Vanderbijlpark that killed 14 students.
